The project aims at implementing activities to increase the energy efficiency of the enterprise, which will reduce production costs, increase environmental performance and increase its competitiveness. In turn, this will have a positive effect not only on the specific enterprise but also on the whole economy. By putting into operation a Modular Asphalt Base will achieve a more efficient use of available energy sources, increase competitiveness and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as other environmental impacts: implementation of a monitoring system for energy management; use of residual heat and implementation and certifies Energy Management Systems ISO 50001:2011.The results of the project consist of achieving energy savings of 7 985 736 kWh/y; energy savings factor or 57.24 % of total energy consumption, reduction of specific energy consumption by 79.34 kWh/tonne, reduction of CO2 emissions in the environment by 2 938.23 t/y. Resource efficiency and efficiency will be achieved by using recycled asphalt. The expected results are related to creating and developing the competitive advantages of VIAGROUP EOOD, based on improved energy efficiency and efficiency of production processes, including through improved resource efficiency, increased production capacity and product quality.
