This project proposal is aimed at improving the energy efficiency and expanding the production capacity in Danube Press AD by purchasing and commissioning a six-color offset sheet printing machine with two varnishing sections, as well as the introduction and certification of an energy management system according to ISO 50001 standard. The investments and services described will lead both to improving energy efficiency and expanding the capacity of the enterprise and to improving resource efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide emissions from production. The new machine, which will replace the existing six-colour offset printing machine, can use recycled inks and raw materials (cardboard), which will contribute to environmental protection. The planned energy savings for the company as a result of the implementation of the project (PES) amount to 26.69 %, the energy savings factor (ESR) to 51.18 % and the saved carbon dioxide emissions to 947.38 t/year.
