The upgrade of the State Hybrid Private Cloud (S Hybrid Private Cloud) and the gradual increase of its covers is key for building the eGovernment environment in Bulgaria. It is part of the shared resources and technological basis and environment for deploying and operating much of the existing and emerging elements of the eGovernment information layer. The main activities of the project are in implementation of the Concept for upgrading and development of a state hybrid private cloud for the needs of e-government in the Republic of Bulgaria, approved by the Chairman of the State Agency for Europe on 05.07.2018.The build-up and development of State Hybrid Private Cloud will allow smaller and facilitate larger administrations in providing the necessary CIU for the implementation of the electronic services they provide to citizens and businesses. It is envisaged that the DHSC will be based on 4 data centres — Data Centres 1 and 2 (CDE1 and CDE2), the Rehabilitation Centre (RCC) and the Control and Technical Centre of the eGovernment (CCC). In order to be able to ensure the optimal functioning of the DHSU, including the provision of all types of cloud services, the project will carry out the following:-Design and construction of engineering infrastructure of CDE2 and provide back-up connectivity with CDE1;-Design and construction of CC engineering infrastructure and separation of backup storage;-Development of the architecture of DHS;-Design, construction and commissioning of shared cloud infrastructure for the provision of cloud services;- Organising and conducting trainings for employees of the State Agency for Europe and of administrations providing services through the FCW; — Expanding the capacity of the Single Electronic Communications Network (ESN) for the purposes of the State Agency for Human Rights and the establishment of a Protected Internet Center.
