The investments under the project are aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of the enterprise in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness. The project will realise initial investments in tangible and intangible assets related to the expansion of the capacity of an existing establishment for construction of hydrotechnical facilities.The activities are in line with the recommendations of the report after an energy audit of an industrial system within the enterprise. The new technologies and facilities to be deployed are in line with the best European and global practices, production processes meet modern energy efficiency and environmental requirements. Provision is made for the supply and commissioning of specialised construction equipment of a new generation. In order to increase energy efficiency, in the production and technical base in the village of Harletz, Kozloduy Municipality will be introduced ASMA and will be implemented and certified ISO 50001:2011 Energy management system. The project will put into operation a system for waste energy recovery. The expected results of the support are to improve the energy efficiency in the final energy consumption of Interprom OOD, which in turn leads to an expansion of the capacity of an existing establishment and to achieving more sustainable growth, both at the level of the individual production plant and the economy as a whole. The objectives set and the expected results are consistent with the corporate policy that the enterprise follows in its overall business as one of the largest employers in the region. The project is an essential contribution to reducing the cost of energy per unit of production, introducing and developing environmentally friendly productions and achieving a more sustainable and efficient enterprise in the long term.
