This project proposal includes the implementation of a package of energy-saving measures, which aim and will contribute to a significant reduction of specific energy consumption and will improve the productivity and competitiveness of CAST Futur — BG Ltd. Achieving energy sustainability in the company’s production will help to increase the market shares of the company on the national and foreign markets through the lower cost of the offered production. The investments envisaged under the project will result in optimisation of the workflow while complying with the latest energy efficiency and environmental protection requirements. Lower electricity consumption will have a direct and positive impact on the environment, as it will lead to a more efficient consumption of energy resources used in production, as well as reduce harmful emissions of CO2 and other locally harmful pollutants. The aim of the project is to cover all environmental performance through the introduction of the new energy efficient investments and the Energy Management System BDS EN ISO 50001 and to achieve sustainable growth and continuous improvement of energy management in the company. The expected results of the project are to maintain an intelligent and sustainable energy policy in the company, aimed at optimising the cost of production per unit of production and increasing the competitiveness of the company. This project will allow CAST Futura — BG Ltd. to optimise its production processes, and the achieved energy efficiency will ensure long-term sustainability and multiplication of energy savings in the enterprise.
