The project is aimed at the realisation of initial investments in tangible assets to increase the energy efficiency of Corporation Toplivo AD through the implementation of 4 energy saving measures recommended as a result of the energy efficiency audit of the production facility located in Straldzha, which the company uses under a long-term lease agreement. The project will be implemented within 19 months and aims at increasing the energy efficiency of the company’s additional activity, which includes the production of bricks, tiles and other baked clay products for construction, with the total annual energy consumption (selected as representative 2015) of 16 074 000.00 kWh/year. In order to reduce the energy intensity of the activity, reduce the production costs and increase the economic efficiency of the activity, within the framework of this project we envisage the implementation of the following measures resulting from the recommendations of the energy efficiency audit: Measures (activities) to be implemented under Element A of the procedure:- Measure 1: Optimisation and Automation of the Tile Production Line;- Measure 2: Delivery and commissioning of 2 new Diesel Forklifts and 1 new four-pillar Electric Car;Measures (activities) to be implemented under Element B:- Measure 4: Introduction of an automated system for monitoring and control of energy consumptionThe activities of Element B include the introduction and certification of an energy management system according to standard BDS EN ISO 50001/EN ISO 50001.The implementation of the project will achieve the following measurable results: Annual energy savings from the package of measures 10 612 821.25 kWh/year. Planned energy savings for the whole enterprise 33.73 %
