Project OMNIA (OMNIA — lat. “everything”, i.e. “Everything about the Modernisation of Educational Processes in the Contemporary University”) is implemented by MU-Plovdiv in partnership with 1.MU-Sofia, 2.MU-Pleven, 3. Thracian University Stara Zagora, 4.NSA, 5.UU “P. Hilendarski”, 6.UHT, 7.NCIPD and 8.IMB-BAS. The main objective of the project is to contribute to the dynamic matching of the supply and demand of specialists with higher education through the modernisation of educational processes in higher education institutions. This will be achieved by developing, digitising and introducing 9 new curricula through which we will provide a competence model, multidisciplinaryness and interdisciplinarity in student education. In the educational process, we will apply a wide-ranging digital transformation, electronic resources and cloud technologies. We will introduce resource sharing practices and build a virtual university called MEDTECH. We will provide specialisations for teachers in associated EU partners to improve their teaching skills, to master flexible teaching methods and problem-based learning methods. We will create opportunities for teachers for training in Bulgaria in order to improve their digital and foreign language skills. To support the professional development of students, doctoral students, post-doctoral students, graduates and young scientists, we will continue good mobility practices for learning and R & D in the EU, thus strengthening cross-border cooperation between higher education institutions. We have also planned activities to align training with the requirements of the labour market. For this purpose we will support career guidance and career development of students by organising and conducting career exchanges and other events together with employers and partners. We will build common information networks of the career centers and conduct trainings on entrepreneurship, presentation and digital skills.
