It will allow persons who have started their training to acquire a specialty to continue and complete their studies. The project complements the measures for acquiring a specialty under OP HRD 2007-2013. The activities are related to the provision of scholarships and fees for theoretical and practical training for the remaining time of the training according to the individual curriculum of each resident. Doctors — medical specialists, dental practitioners, specialised nurses and midwives, who have concluded a contract for training in places financed by another source under Regulation No 34/2006 on acquiring a specialty in the healthcare system and who continue their training during the operation referred to in § 1(1)(1) of the Transitional and Final Provisions of Ordinance No 1 of 22 January 2015 on acquiring a specialty in the healthcare system will be supported; are trained to acquire a specialty in accordance with Regulation No 1 of 22 January 2015 on acquiring a specialty in the healthcare system, and are Bulgarian citizens, nationals of Member States of the European Union, of other countries of the European Economic Area and of Switzerland or foreigners who have a long-term or permanent residence permit in the Republic of Bulgaria, persons granted refugee status, humanitarian status or granted asylum rights and foreigners of Bulgarian nationality; *For graduates who are trained in places for which the state finances the training referred to in Article 40(1) and/or Article 41(1) of Regulation No 1 it is permissible to grant scholarships for the period during which the resident has not received any income or from the exercise of economic activity. The result indicators will be achieved with the implementation, there are 230 participants employed in the “white” sector, who have completed their specialisation. The project has a duration of 86 months and a budget of BGN 5 852 900.
