IMPROVING CONDITIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF EMERGENCY CONDITIONS

The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of emergency medical assistance provided through investments in human capital. The specific objective is to improve the knowledge and skills of emergency medical system staff through continuous training. Continuing training will help increase the satisfaction of the white sector with a high-quality workforce. The project will provide support to those working in the emergency medical system to acquire specific knowledge, skills, key competences. The concept for the development of the emergency medical care system states that the advanced training will be implemented through the establishment and operation of a National Training and Qualification Centre in the emergency medical care system. With the implementation of this project, it will set up the centre and start its activities. The project will provide training to emergency staff: doctors and health care professionals and staff from emergency medical centres: doctors, health care professionals and drivers. This training will be conducted through modern methods and programs. In addition, methodologies for periodic assessment of qualifications and professional skills in emergency care will be developed. The project is in line with the priorities of the IB and complements the measures taken to provide specific training in emergency medical care. The project has a duration of 34 months and a total budget of BGN 7 000 000.00.
