The project builds on the project “New chance for success”, funded by the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development (2007-2013)”. The main activity of the project is to facilitate further access to general education and vocational training and consequently to participation in the labour market. The project contributes to the objectives of the Operational Programme “Science and Education for Smart Growth” and Priority axis 3 “Educational environment for active social inclusion”. The project activities will create conditions for the development of the lifelong learning system and will have a positive effect on the future professional realisation of the learners. The activities set out in the project are aimed at building a system of knowledge and skills necessary for both continued education and subsequent inclusion in training for qualification in certain professions. The main activity will be related to the organisational and methodological provision of the training process. The activities in the project are related to the organisation and delivery of literacy courses and competence courses from the lower secondary stage, as well as the provision of opportunities for the organisation of distance learning. Mastering modern key competences is a chance for weak literate individuals to emerge from a risk group on the labour market. The objectives of the project will also be achieved by certification of successfully completed training, by promoting the need to increase and promote literacy and by raising awareness of the benefits of improving literacy, which will contribute to addressing the social challenges resulting from global economic processes.
