QUALIFICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALISTS

The project activities will be implemented within three school years — from 2018/2019 to 2020/2021. The project plans 52 900 pedagogical specialists from the system of pre-school and school education to be involved in short-term trainings for the acquisition of 1 to 3 qualification credits. The trainings will be carried out on topics aimed at: knowledge acquisition and the formation of skills and competences related to the use of innovative teaching methods, modern methods in the assessment of learning outcomes, diagnosis of personal development and counselling of students with a view to achieving quality education and personal development; the implementation of models for creating and developing a positive school environment, including for improving the interaction between family and school, attracting parents to participate more actively in the school community and for effective class management; increase the preparation of pedagogical specialists with management functions for the implementation of modern models for management of educational institutions, leadership for effective organisation of school activities and coordination of pedagogical teams. Under the project, a total of 48 015 pedagogical specialists are planned to be involved in professional qualification degree (VQD) procedures, including preparatory courses for the acquisition of the fifth and fourth CPs. To support the implementation of the main activities, an information system for pedagogical specialists with basic functionalities for registration of training needs will be developed; selection of training topics for pedagogical specialists; forms of training planning; selection of training and training programmes; opportunities for on-line training and tests; preparation of reports and others. The project will also assess the quality of the trainings carried out and their results.
