The project will build on the results of operations under OPHRD — “Creating a favorable multicultural environment for practical implementation of intercultural education and education”, “Integration of children and students from ethnic minorities in the education system” and “Educational integration of children and pupils from ethnic minorities”, as well as the new operations under OPSESG — “Educational Integration of Students from Ethnic Minorities and/or Seekers or Beneficiaries of International Protection”.The procedure takes into account the results of the project “Your hour” and complements the implementation of national programs: “No free time”; “With care for every student”, and the additional training in Bulgarian language, funded by the state budget for work. To select the schools to be involved in the project, the Ministry of Education and Science has developed a Methodology for determining the number of schools with a lower concentration of students from vulnerable groups to participate in the implementation of the project activities. Of the 1670 schools identified at the start of the project, 920 have a high concentration of students from vulnerable groups under the Regulation on the financing of institutions in the system of the WMP. The methodology will allow once a year to update the list of schools. The schools included in the project are approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science. For the implementation of the project, the specific beneficiary will use an information system for management and reporting. In order to minimise the risk of duplication of activities, costs and inclusion of the same persons from the target groups in identical activities financed simultaneously under different projects, demarcation was carried out for schools participating in integrated project proposal BG05M9OP001-2.018 "Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups. Integrated measures to improve access to education"-Component 1 (Integrated scheme between OPHRD and OPSESG).
