According to the State Administration Development Strategy 2014-2020, it is not possible to build an effect for monitoring the implementation of policies and implementation of legislation and regulations. Integrated initiatives for regular assessment of the quality of the services received by citizens and businesses are encouraged. To fulfil this goal, the implementation of the Strategy for Innovation and Good Governance at Local Level (SIDUMN) contributes to the implementation of the Strategy for Innovation and Good Governance at Local Level (SIDUM) and the 12 principles of good governance introduced by it. An integral part of the strategy is the award of the Label for Innovation and Good Governance at local level to the municipalities, which comply with the 12 principles of SIDMS. Since 2011 3 procedures for awarding the Label have been carried out and the interest of the municipalities is increasing with each subsequent procedure. The implementation of this project aims to popularise and the increasing application by Bulgarian local authorities of 12 principles and sharing of good practices. By increasing the number of municipalities, which have adopted and apply the principles of good practice, the conditions for improving the local self-execution in the country will be created. Thus, for some of the municipalities, in addition to the specific activities for the award of the Label for the 4th time in Bulgaria, it is envisaged to expand the scope of application of SIDUMN, both by sharing good practices among municipalities and by carrying out a thorough analysis of the normative environment (Na. law) related to the implementation of the principles of democratisation, in accordance with the SIDUMN, including the preparation of conclusions, proposals and recommendations for improving the regulatory environment. An analysis of the implementation of the SIDUMN will be carried out and activities for effective and enforcement will be planned. As a result of the implementation of the project will be:- the 12 principles of good governance at local level — common good practices for management at local level.- created institutional prerequisites for better management at local level.
