The project proposal aims at improving the effectiveness of national labour market policy and measures by providing up-to-date data and analyses of the skills and competences needs of the workforce. The activities are aimed at developing the national competence assessment system — MyCompetence and include the selection of 5 new economic sectors, the identification of key positions in the selected sectors, the creation of new 5 sectoral advisory councils, the development and implementation of e-tools and environment for analysis and audit of posts and jobs, the development and testing of sectoral competences model of the 20 key positions in the selected 5 sectors, the development, testing and validation of the new e-tools for competence assessment, development, testing and testing of 7 e-trainings, updating the developed and validated sectoral competency model in the 20 sectors developed in the period 2010-2014, creation, pilot implementation and validation of an electronic module for analysis and assessment of the training needs of the workforce. The benefits of the project are in several directions:-At the enterprise level, through the development of sectoral competency models for the exercise of a specific profession and position, the processes of evaluation, development planning and workforce management will be improved. — At the policy level, the provision of up-to-date data and analyses of skills and competences needs by economic sectors will be used to better anticipate the need for competences in the sectors covered, as well as to take more effective measures and policies in the fields of employment, education and vocational training.-At individual level, information on the skills and competences needed to exercise a profession and position will be used to select continuing training, develop new skills, career development.
