The aim of the project proposal is to provide professional and expert management by the municipal employees by increasing their knowledge, skills and qualifications by building on the results achieved under the project “Improving the capacity of municipal employees to provide quality public services”, funded by the DDA. The implementation of the goal will be achieved by organising and conducting more than 250 trainings (attendance and remote) on topical topics for the municipal administration and conducting trainings for trainers. It is planned that more than 5000 municipal employees will receive trainings on 15 training modules directly related to the basic municipal services. Conducting trainings for trainers (predominant part of which are municipal employees) and their participation as lecturers in face-to-face trainings for the target groups ensures the achievement of multiplier effect and sustainability of the results of the project. The definition of the topics of the training modules on which trainings under this project will be carried out is based on an analysis of the needs of the municipal employees of the project completed under the DWMP. There is also an opportunity to develop up to 5 new training modules — in case of changes in the legal framework and/or identified needs of municipalities. With a view to covering the widest range of municipal representatives, each training module will be offered in two forms — face-to-face and remote. The implementation of the project will contribute to better management at local level and to increase the quality of the services provided by the municipalities to citizens and businesses, as well as to strengthen the role of the National Association of Municipalities as an information and qualification center for the development of the knowledge, skills and qualification of employees in municipal administrations
