Promoting the development of professional knowledge in Hungary in the field of health through health promotion programmes implemented in cooperation with neighbouring countries of the Carpathian Basin

One of the priority objectives of the programme is to promote health, prevent disease, catch up with society and improve the quality of life. The objectives have been set as a strategic goal not only for Hungarian citizens, but also for EU residents. The overall objective of the project is to improve the health and social inequalities of Hungarians living in the underdeveloped regions of the Carpathian Basin thanks to the activities carried out in the areas of health, prevention and health promotion. The consortium partners intend to achieve this goal through the sharing of good practices and the development and strengthening of national and cross-border cooperation in order to increase the professional knowledge of Hungary in the field of health. Specific objectives of the project: 1.Promote the development of professional knowledge in the field of health care in Hungary and in the Hungarian-inhabited areas of Romania. 2.Promoting disease prevention by improving the accessibility of essential health promotion services in disadvantaged settlements. 3. Cross-border cooperation between civil and state actors in the field of health. 4.Enhancing health awareness among the population living in the Carpathian Basin, particularly in areas where the population is not reached by the local health and/or social system. 5.Improving the quality of life of an ageing population by developing support services and services. 6.Develop and promote volunteering and responsible citizenship in the areas of health/health culture and the elderly. In the context of the specific objectives, the consortium partners and the local civil organisation capacities of the neighbouring countries will be developed through training, organizational development and networking. By offering coordinated, systemic solutions that directly affect the population, we will ensure that health-conscious attitudes improve early detection of diseases and disease-risk behaviours. The project will allow for central coordination, methodological management and monitoring of the activities. Activities: 1.Preparation of cross-border research, surveys and good practices for the development of relevant Hungarian professional organisations, preparation and dissemination of analyses, studies and methodological materials summarising the above. On the one hand, to map and explore the objectives and implementation of public health programmes and secondary prevention programmes in the target area. — The main goal of the research is to recognise the elements that can be implemented in Hungary. The research will be summarised in the form of a study. Its contents will be presented and discussed at a related conference 2. Cross-border exchange of experience and good practices between doctors and healthcare professionals, conferences and workshops. — With the help of cross-border conferences and workshops (in the field of health preservation/prevention and home care), implement methods, solutions and implementations that can be applied to the Hungarian health system with success. 3.Execution of study visits and exchange programmes with the participation of experts from partner organisations in Hungary and neighbouring countries. — Organising study visits by health professionals to implement good practices across borders. Exchange of experiences mainly on public health and secondary prevention. 4.Execution of educational programmes to improve health awareness for professionals and laymen with basic health screening tests 4.1.
