Increased chances — training and employment

The aim of the project is closely aligned with the policy environment, the framework of the related legislation and the specific objectives set out in the call. Accordingly, the project focuses on training and employment activities — for the target group defined in the Call — where DG Social Affairs and Child Protection will employ 400 staff while providing training to obtain the necessary professional qualifications. In addition, it will provide training for 600 people who will be able to work in an institution providing social, child welfare and child protection and education services maintained by municipalities, NGOs and churches. In the framework of compulsory activities, we undertake • recruitment (with Roma identities), • assess the justification of employment needs, • ask for a recommendation with a Roma minority self-government and ask for a recommendation from it, • 24 months subsidised employment of the target group, • after the end of 24 months of subsidised employment, at least the same job and conditions, continued employment of the Target Group member for at least 12 months, • employing a mentor to help integrate and support the work of the target group during the period of subsidised employment (5 persons/mentor) • Acquisition of work clothes and/or protective clothing for the target group member (according to the relevant legislation), • training (with instructors) to obtain specialised qualifications, as well as the development of foreign language competence and skills development (in addition to the mandatory number of hours for each training course, representing 10 % of the hours of training) in addition to the needs of the labour market and individual language knowledge, as well as the development and operation of an information system recording training, employment data, registration, service, subsidised employment, related allowances and the data of participants in the subsidised training courses. In the framework of optional professional activities, we undertake an occupational health inspection for • the target group (if the person to be employed does not have the necessary documentation), • supervision for mentors (up to 10 times during the duration of the project), • provision of livelihood support for target group members during the training to obtain a vocational qualification if necessary. For the implementation of the training activities, a training portfolio has been developed and will be authorised after the start of the project.
