The main aim of the competition entitled “Retention of the stay of young people in Jasapáti” is to enable young people who want to settle in the settlement to be able to live with life opportunities and to establish existential and family life in the city of Jászapáti. Planned physical start date of the project: 1 December 2017 End date of implementation: 40 months 31 March 2021 Out of the 6 available activities, 4 were selected by the Municipality of Jászapáti, which are as follows: 1. Refurbishing, refurbishing and equipping the properties owned by the municipality for independent housing, for young individuals and couples and families participating in the project, in connection with this activity, the municipality will renovate 7 uninhabited properties in accordance with the requirements set out in the call, thereby improving the housing conditions of young people, providing preferential, independent housing opportunities. 2. The second activity is to implement the following programmes for the target groups within the framework of the services that help young people’s career planning: • Career and career counselling • Self-knowledge training, Conflict management and communication training • Development of life skills, skills, writing a CV • Organisation of an enterprise forum with the participation of the target group • Preparing secondary school students for entrepreneurship • Information on business development opportunities 3. Organisation of activities involving the target group, based on the development concept submitted in the application for support, identifying local opportunities, values and talents, generating economic cooperation on this basis • Organisation of an Entrepreneur Forum with the participation of the target group • Preparing secondary school pupils for entrepreneurship • Forum related to the start-up and operation of a business • Information on opportunities for business development • Entrepreneurship Forum 4. Develop and provide a knowledge transfer/local incentive system for the target group (up to the end of the project) to enable participation in the local economy on the basis of point 3 • Mapping of local craft traditions and activities, study and forum • Urban Youth Scholarship Programme for secondary school pupils, young people, college students: 6 people can receive support for 24 months • Incentive scheme for municipal professionals: 10 people can receive support for 24 months • Youth with higher education incentive scheme: 6 people can receive support for 24 months. The motivational systems are a new human resource management tool in the municipality aimed at keeping professionals locally and continuously. By meeting the above objectives, the housing conditions of young people will be improved by providing independent housing opportunities. Programmes for (self-)employment based on local opportunities will also be put in place, which also contributes to keeping young people in Jasapat. It provides additional support to young people wishing to stay in the settlement by means of a specific incentive programme adapted to local specificities, conditions and needs. Indicators of the proposal: Young people receiving housing support: Eight people? 45 young people involved in the provision of local services to support career planning, job acquisition skills? Number of young people benefiting from knowledge transfer and incentives: 22 people? Preparation of a youth action programme to promote the employment and social activity of the target group, based on local opportunities, to help young people enter the labour market? A total of 250 young people involved in the target group? Number of young people under 25: 35 persons
