Young people’s chances and home creation in Nagyatád

The project implements the following of the self-selectable activities: In order to keep the young people in place, 8 homes owned by the applicant for support will be built and renovated. This is linked to the activities of technical inspectors. Young people’s housing is also equipped with housing equipment. A public procurement procedure was also planned for the selection of the company carrying out the works. The provision of local services to support young people’s career planning, job acquisition skills, CV writing, interview preparation, knowledge and mentoring of job-search opportunities are also realised. In the framework of the organisation of activities with the participation of the target group, based on the development concept submitted in the application for support, local opportunities, values and talents generating economic cooperation based on this, a youth community space will be created, which will be the engine and the basis of the project’s activities. Related training and value-preserving youth events are linked. On the basis of the previous activity, knowledge transfer will be carried out to enable participation in the local economy, as part of which there will be business needs exploration, cadastral preparation, business forums, then a scholarship programme will be developed with the necessary legal documents in order to fill shortages and attract local young people, and this programme will be run by the municipality within 24 months. There is also an adaptation of (documented) good practices in other municipalities supporting young people’s stay, including study visits for the target group. The project also assigns marketing activities to the activities presented, which serves to familiarise and promote the activities, trainings and programs. In addition, the equipment needed for professional implementation is also purchased. Furthermore, in order to successfully implement the project, the local government staff implementing the project will be involved, and in order to implement it in accordance with the requirements of the call for proposals, 1 main project manager, 1 financial manager will be involved. Under the guidance of the professional manager, we implement the planned activities within 40 months. During the preparation of the project, the planning documents related to the renovation and cost estimation and the professional development concept required for submission were completed. In the framework of the Youth Forum, the necessary preliminary professional consultation was carried out with the participation of the target group, including an invitation, attendance list and questionnaire survey.
