In recent years, Ardino Municipality has grown the group of young people who are not in employment and do not participate in any form of training or education. The factors for this are objective and are pre-determined by the state of the labour market (unemployment, employment, income, working conditions) and subjective — passivity and low motivation to study and work. At the same time, given their lack of work experience and working habits, they are often not preferred by employers. Last but not least, some of the young people with a low level of education and/or professional qualifications have left the education system prematurely and their chances of realisation without mediation and support for increasing their employability are minimal. This project is designed to achieve the precise identification of the young people from these groups and the definition of their specific needs is an indispensable condition, both for the proper targeting of existing services and measures for their activation, as well as for the development and implementation of new differentiated services and measures for training and employment in the future. The project will be implemented by the Municipality of Ardino-candidate, in partnership with the NGO “LAG Ardino-Jebbel” and the Foundation “Students” and the Foundation “Study-Century” and the “Study” Foundation.
