The project “Social inclusion of vulnerable groups in the municipality of Ardino through patronage care” aims to improve the quality of life and the opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and the elderly by providing health and social services in the home environment. The activities envisaged are aimed at expanding the services offered in the “Center for Home Services” in the town of Ardino through:- Provision of hourly mobile integrated health and social services for deprived persons with disabilities and elderly people in the municipality of Ardino, Kardzhali District;- Support for the creation of employment;- Provision of psychological support and counselling;- Training and supervision of staff;- Purchase of means of transport for carrying out mobile work;- Compliance with the requirements for implementation of the information and communication activity, according to the Beneficiary’s Single Manual for the application of the rules for information and communication 2014-2020. The provision of hourly mobile services will be carried out under the program/methodology of the Ministry of Health by medical specialists and specialists in the field of social services, as any person in the target group will be able to receive health and social services up to 2 hours a day. The project proposal is aimed at people with disabilities and elderly people who cannot take care of themselves. Existing acute unemployment and employment problems will be addressed. The implementation of the project will contribute to the implementation of the National Strategy for Long-term Care, approved by Council of Ministers Decree No 28/19.01.2018, the Action Plan 2018-2021, the Personal Assistance Act, the other legal and regulatory framework, as well as the Strategy for the Development of Social Services in Ardino Municipality 2016-2020, adopted by Decision No 172/26.10.2016 of the Municipal Council — Ardino.
