The present project provides for the design and construction of a composting plant and pre-treatment plant for mixed collected BOs, which will serve the municipalities of RSPO-Blagoevgrad (Blagoevgrad, Simitli, Rila, Kocherinovo and Boboshevo).The composing installation has a capacity of 2 516 t/d and the pretreatment plant of BO has a capacity of-24 117 t/year. Composing will be carried out in open cages with a shed. by an automatic system where maintaining conditions suitable for the proper operation of the composting process is less dependent on the climate. Aeration is foreseen for the composting system. The BO pre-treatment plant includes an optimal combination between mechanisation, equipment and manual labour.The technological process includes mechanical sorting and separation of recyclable fractions, as well as stabilisation of sorted biodegradable waste by container composting (with stabilisation capacity up to 3 000 t/d) before disposal. The location of the site on which the two installations are planned to be built covers properties No 000733 and No 000272, landmarks of Buchino and No 053020, land on the site owned by the site where the two installations are planned to build the two installations for the implementation of the BOB.
