The project envisages the creation of a new “Centre for Independent Living in the Municipality of Byala Slatina” for hourly provision of services for social inclusion. It combines various actions to overcome isolation and ensure integrated access to health and social services. The main need to be met through the implementation of the project is the provision of complex care to improve the quality of life of older people and, on the other hand, to enable unemployed people of working age to be involved in the provision of the new services. The creation of a new Centre for the provision of integrated social services, including health services, will help to overcome the problems arising from social exclusion. The target groups of the project are people with disabilities, people over 65 with restrictions or inability to self-service and their families. The main objective of the project is through the creation of a new Centre and its development in the field of social hourly services, to provide conditions for independent living for the elderly and persons with disabilities. The specific objectives of the project are related to improving access to social and health services. As a result of the project implementation is expected to increase the quality of social services and create a sustainable model for the provision of social services in the community. The activities of the project are: Organisation and management of the project; Preparation of tender documentation and implementation of procedures under the Public Procurement Act; Carrying out ongoing repairs and equipment of the Centre; Information and publicity; Recruitment of staff and specialists; An assessment of the needs of the targeted persons for inclusion in the services and selection of users; Conducting introductory and upgrading trainings for social service providers; Provision of integrated social services; Providing motivational and psychological support to consumers; Supervision of staff providing social services.
