The project addresses the need to implement targeted measures at local level to solve problems in the early stages of the educational process, hindering the “equal start” of disadvantaged children. Lack of education and training for children from low-income families and children from ethnic minorities are a factor that affects mental development and reduces their chances of success in school and life. The implementation of the project will meet the need to implement targeted measures for educational integration, preparation and adaptation for school activities of children from ethnic minorities or marginalised groups. Support will be provided to disadvantaged children from 4 kindergartens on the territory of the municipality of Byala Slatina, aged 3 to 6 years, for early development and education. The implementation of the project will provide better opportunities and appropriate conditions for educational activities in a multicultural environment. The target groups of the project are children from ethnic minorities and marginalised groups, the parents of the children. The activities set out in the project are: Organisation and management of the project; Preparation for an equal start in school; Festive events and joint events; Improving the educational environment in kindergartens; Preserving and developing the cultural identity of children from ethnic minorities; Encouraging the participation of parents in the educational process; Working with parents from vulnerable families; Information and publicity. The expected results of the project are:- improved conditions for equal access to pre-school preparation and education of children; — improved language skills in children speaking different from the Bulgarian language;- created conditions for implementation of the municipal policy for educational integration of children from ethnic minorities; — increased motivation of parents;
