This project proposal aims at ensuring equal access to quality education, taking into account the different levels of social integration of individual ethnic minorities and the need to implement targeted measures at local level to solve problems in education. As a result of the implementation of the project, conditions for successful educational integration of Roma children in schools in Byala Slatina Municipality will be created through mutual learning, improving access to quality education, increasing motivation to participate in the educational process and building interinstitutional partnership in support of educational inclusion and cultural diversity. The target groups of the project are students from ethnic minorities and marginalised groups, as well as their parents. The activities set out in the project are: organisation and management; information and publicity; additional training in Bulgarian language for pupils for whom the Bulgarian language is not mother tongue; additional activities with students at risk of dropping out; preservation and development of cultural identity; supporting students from ethnic minorities to successfully complete secondary education; promoting the participation of parents in the educational process;Working with parents from ethnic minorities who prevent their children from attending regular classes.The expected results of the project implementation are: improved conditions for equal access to school education; compensating gaps in learning material for students from ethnic minorities; mutual knowledge of students of different ethnicities and their upbringing in a spirit of tolerance; created conditions for implementation of the municipal policy for educational integration of children and pupils from ethnic minorities; increased motivation of parents to participate in the educational process.
