The project aims at the reconstruction and implementation of EE measures, which will reduce costs and facilitate the operation of the building. Through the investment, the unique architectural monument will provide a secure and modern environment for the exhibition and promotion of the cultural — historical heritage, which is located in the museum, attracting a larger number of tourists interested in the Renaissance. Technical security, video surveillance and fire alarm systems are to be upgraded to meet the current regulatory requirements. Tourism ensures the commercialisation of natural and cultural heritage and the creation of livelihoods and incomes, balance economic objectives with environmental and social risks, broaden the territorial and social dissemination of the benefits of cultural development. Globally, cultural and historical heritage develops in three directions: widening the scope from material to intangible culture and from elitary to mass; consideration of cultural — historical sites in their environment; the enrolment of KIN in modern life and its active socialisation. These are the directions in which the specific site is included as part of the policy for the development of culture and building an integrated cultural and tourist product in V.Tarnovo Municipality. Cultural heritage is an economic resource that is a prerequisite for economic processes and valorisation. The investment is aimed at restoring and preserving cultural and historical values, focusing on the relationship between historical culture, local traditions and modern interventions.The construction of an integrated product is related to preservation, restoration and exhibition of values with a focus on the relationship between historical monuments, local traditions and modern, modern intervention through territorial complexity; interaction between cultural, historical, archaeological and natural resources.
