The objective of this project proposal is to ensure a sustainable and ecological urban environment with improved quality of life, increased attractiveness and created new opportunities for economic and social development, through renovation and improvement of the physical environment in the town of Velingrad.The activities envisaged in the project are: Activity 1: Organisation and management of the projectAction 2: Implementation of construction and installation works to increase the attractiveness of the urban environmentAction 3: Implementation of authors and construction supervisionAct 4: Information and communication campaignAction 5: The project proposal covers the main projects under the investment priority “urban environment” set out in the investment programme approved by the Managing Authority of OPRD for the implementation of the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development of the town of Velingrad. During the implementation of the project activities are envisaged combinations of interventions including renovation, repair, reconstruction, construction and renovation of the following sites on the territory of the city: Central square from Yundolska Street to Alabac State Forestry from axis 239A-244-233-9; from St. St. St. John’s Day. Cyril and Methodius from Axis 244-236A-38 and from the fountains to the old building of the municipality, warehouses at Central Cooperative Market, Georgi Kirkov Street, Milevi Skali Street and Hristo Smirnenski Street.
