The project proposal provides for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in an administrative building owned by Velingrad Municipality with address: town of Velingrad, 16 Han Asparuh Street. The building houses the following district structures of the public administration: Velingrad District Prosecutor’s Office, as part of the structure of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Directorate of Social Assistance — Velingrad, as part of the structure of the Executive Agency for Social Assistance, Child Protection Department, as part of the structure of the Executive Agency for Social Assistance and the Regional Health Inspectorate — Pazardzhik, as part of the structure of the Ministry of Health. In the process of implementation of the project activities are envisaged preparation of a full investment project and execution of construction works in the building and includes: ● implementation of all energy-saving measures prescribed as mandatory for buildings in the energy efficiency audit and resulting in at least energy consumption class C;● implementation of structural restoration/strengthening measures prescribed, as mandatory in the technical audit of buildings ● implementation of the other measures prescribed as mandatory in the technical audit;● implementation of measures, related to improving the accessibility of persons with disabilities.The project proposal also includes activities to assess the compliance of investment projects with the essential requirements for construction works and to carry out construction supervision during construction, information communication campaign to promote the project and sources of funding, as well as carrying out independent financial audit.
