This project proposal aims at creating appropriate social infrastructure for the accommodation of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of the population through the construction of new social housing in the municipality of Velingrad. In the process of implementation of the project activities, the construction of a residential building with a total of 90 social housing is planned through new construction. The premises in the newly built building will be separated, as separate objects with residential purpose type apartments (one-room, one-bedroom, three-bedroom and disabled people). The yard will be fully developed and an accessible built environment for people with disabilities will be built. The construction will be carried out on a public municipal property within the scope of the area of predominant social character of the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development of the town of Velingrad. During the implementation of the project will be carried out engineering activities — design, author’s supervision and execution of the construction. The equipment and furnishings needed for the newly built social housing will be purchased, delivered and installed. The project will assess the compliance of investment projects with the essential requirements for construction works and carry out construction supervision during construction, an information communication campaign to promote the project and the sources of financing, as well as carrying out an independent financial audit.
