The project “Basic reconstruction of a central pedestrian zone” is included in the list of indicative main projects of the approved under Priority Axis 1 — “Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development” of Operational Programme “Regions in Growth”, BG16RFOP001-1.010 — “Implementation of Integrated Plans for Urban Reconstruction and Development 2014-2020-Vidin”. The project falls in the area with public functions with high public importance of the IDPLG of the town of Vidin. The renovation of the central pedestrian zone, along the length of which are concentrated buildings with important administrative and social functions, is key to improving the appearance of the urban area. the whole population of Vidin and the guests of the city.Objectives: Improving the urban environment; Improving the quality of life; Increasing urban attractiveness.Expected results: Through the implementation of the project will improve the quality of life of the local residents and will increase the overall attractiveness of the city for tourists, which will support tourist demand and its service.
