The project proposal “Together for a Better Life” is a number of measures that will contribute to improving access to employment, education, training, social and health services for socially excluded people living in difficult socio-economic conditions in the Municipality of Vidin. Beneficiary is the Municipality of Vidin with partners: Association “Development of Personality and Human Communities”; “Hena” OOD; SU "St. St. St. Cyril and Methodius; “Rusalka”. The project is implemented for a period of 36 months and the total budget is 988 038.06 BGN. The project provides for implementation 8 activities: Action (E) 1 — “Improving access to employment”, includes measures for professional information, counselling and psychological support; motivation for active behaviour in the labour market, inclusion in employment and in apprenticeship and apprenticeship programmes, E2 — “Improving access to social and health services”, covering the promotion of health culture, working with health mediators and conducting campaigns to improve the health and social skills and knowledge of the target group, E3 — “Developing local communities and overcoming negative stereotypes”, which includes information campaigns and community festival, D4. Working with parents regardless of their ethnic background to explain the benefits of educational integration and acceptance of the D5 difference. Career counselling and career guidance for students from ethnic minorities and seeking or receiving international protection 6. Improving the educational environment in kindergartens and schools outside Roma neighborhoods in cities where children and students from ethnic minorities are educated and seeking or granted international protection;D7. Additional Bulgarian language training for children and pupils (including children and pupils seeking or receiving international protection) for whom the Bulgarian language is not mother tongue.D8. Overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic origin and cultural identity.
