The project “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in multi-apartment buildings on the territory of Vidin” is included in the list of indicative basic projects of the approved under Priority Axis 1 — “Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development” of Operational Programme “Regions in Growth”, procedure BG16RFOP001-1.010 — “Implementation of integrated plans for urban rehabilitation and development 2014-2020-Vidin”. Within the project for thirteen buildings from the residential infrastructure of Vidin Municipality, after a decision of the general assembly of the owners and a signed contract with the municipality of Vidin, measures will be taken and implemented to improve their energy efficiency and measures related to improving access for people with disabilities, in accordance with the requirements of Regulation No 4/01.07.2009. The necessary energy saving measures for each building are reflected in EE audit reports accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate made by a licensed person. The measures aim to provide better living conditions for citizens in multi-apartment buildings, thermal comfort and higher quality of living environment. All thirteen multi-apartment buildings subject to intervention are in poor technical condition. For the successful implementation of the project, the Beneficiary will conduct procedures, in accordance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Act for the selection of contractors for the activities of the project, will participate with its representatives in the Project Team and will monitor the strict implementation of the planned activities. As a result of the implementation of the project on the territory of the Municipality in thirteen multi-family residential buildings and for 389 inhabitants of the town of Vidin, better living conditions will be created. The reconstructed and renovated 13 buildings will meet the modern requirements.
