The project meets the needs for integrated social services identified in the municipality of Vratsa. Its general objective is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and people over 65 years old, incapable of self-service, who are at risk of social exclusion. The specific objectives are related to facilitating the access of the target group to quality health and social services in the community and in the home environment and encouraging consumers to make their own decisions to organise their daily lives. The project aims to increase the professional skills of employees in the Center for hourly provision of services for social inclusion in the community and in the home environment and reduce the risk of dependence on institutional type of care. The project activities are related to providing access to integrated services, providing motivational, psychological or other support to service users. Introduction and upgrading trainings, psychological support, counselling and supervision of the staff providing social services, development of a Methodology for the Centre’s activities, information and publicity activities and project organisation and management are planned. As a result, 195 people will have improved their quality of life by receiving support and provision of the service “Personal Assistant” and “Home Assistant”. More than 70 % of them will have improved their access to other cross-sectoral services. The municipality of Vratsa as a social service provider will have set up a multidisciplinary team of 139 specialists and will expand the scope of its activities. Through the implementation of the project will raise the awareness of the local community about the possibilities of OP “Human Resources Development” 2014-2020 to support the social inclusion of people with disabilities.
