The project is designed to manage the water cycle of the town of Vratsa and covers a water supply network, sewerage network and waste water treatment plant (WWTP). The integrated project is divided into two phases. The first phase was implemented in the programming period 2017-2013 of OPE. The second phase of the project provides for the complete completion of the reconstruction of the urban WSS network and the reconstruction of the WWTP Vratsa, as well as the full implementation of the rehabilitation of the steel and reconstruction of an existing asbestos-cement pipeline from a dam. The second phase of the project includes: •Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 17.62 km of water supply network, in which there are many drills and leakages. •Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 2.35 km of existing main waste water collectors in Vratsa. •Reconstruction and rehabilitation of 7.59 km secondary sewerage network • Extension of the sewerage network by 8.77 km in two districts of Vratsa — Kulata and Bistretz. as well as on streets in Vratsa. •Rehabilitation of existing steel plumbing and reconstruction of existing asbestos-cement pipeline from a dam.
