The main objective is to provide support for the continuation of the process of deinstitutionalisation by implementing models for quality alternative care for children and/or young people accommodated in the “Asen Zlatarov” Parental Care Deprived Children’s Home in Vratsa, including for children with disabilities. The project activities are: preparation and implementation of public procurement, selection and recruitment of staff, activities to relocate children and young people from the target group and their placement in newly opened services, trainings and supervision of staff, provision of social services "Family-type accommodation centre for children" (CNSTS), "Transitional housing for children from 15-18 years old" (PZ), "monitored housing for young people from 18-21 years old", "Day Centre for support of children and/or young people with severe multiple disabilities and their families" (DCDMTMTUTS) and "Public Support Centre" (PSC), including the provision of emergency reception services for children or children and parent/persons in part of the CCS (up to 4 places). Target groups are: of CPC-children and families at risk; children, produced by specialised institutions and accommodated in resident services. Currently, resident services use 42 children with disabilities. Potential users are also children from DSDLG "As. Zlatarov"- Vratsa with 43 children and young people accommodated; children with severe multiple disabilities and their families using the resident service CNST; of CNST children deprived of parental care, with exhausted opportunities for staying and returning to the biological family, accommodation in the family of relatives, relatives or foster family; of PZh-children from 15-18 years old, detached by specialised institutions; of NRWs from 18-21 years old, who leave specialised institutions, PZh and ZH and are about to lead an independent lifestyle. The demand, which will be satisfied through the realisation of the project, is the target groups to receive accompanying social services in the community. The expected results are the closure of the DWLG-Vratsa and the extension of the social services on the territory of Vratsa Municipality.
