The aim of the project is social inclusion and professional integration of vulnerable groups of unemployed persons by providing protected employment in a new municipal social enterprise (SP) for landscaping and public works of the Municipality of General Toshevo. The enterprise will carry out: repair of municipal properties, roads, alleys and sidewalks; maintenance and shaping of green areas; snow cleaning, spring and autumn cleaning, etc. Project target group are: long-term unemployed; unemployed over 54 years of age; unemployed with primary or lower education and without a professional qualification. Main project activities: 1. Establishment of municipal SP for landscaping and public works; 2.Psychological support and motivation of persons from vulnerable groups for inclusion in employment; 3.Repair and furnishing of premises; 4.Delivery of equipment and tools; 5.Selection and appointment of SP team, support staff and mentors; 6.Evaluation, selection and recruitment of persons from the target groups for work in the JU; 7. Support for employment and operation of the SP for Landscaping and Public Works; 8.Social and professional integration of employees from vulnerable groups. For initial motivation there will be training for 25 people in the target group. After selection, 12 of them will be recruited to the JU for 12 months. Non-targeted staff will also be recruited to the JU: Director, Accounting Officer, Construction Technician, Landscaper, Host, Electrical Technician and Driver. The construction technician and the landscaper will also be mentors of employees for the first 6 months of employment. Consultants — Psychologist and Social Specialist will also work with the target group. For legal services and assistance under the project will be hired and consultant — Jurist. To ensure the activity of the JU, repairs of premises — municipal property and purchase of the necessary equipment, tools, materials and consumables are envisaged. After the end of the project, the JU will continue its activities as 6 targeted persons will remain in employment for at least another 6 months.
