This project proposal has the general objective of: To increase energy efficiency and reach at least class C in the public sector, contribute to environmental protection and balanced development of the territory.The project sets the following specific objectives:1. To increase energy efficiency in an administrative building for the provision of social services, located in the area of public importance of Gorna Oryahovitsa;2. Reduce annual primary energy consumption by 312 733 kWh/year and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 79.12 t CO2/year;3. Improve the working environment for 46 staff in the administrative building;4. To ensure equal access to the basic services provided to 2065 persons with physical disabilities on the territory of the municipality by building an accessible built environment.The objectives of the project will be achieved through the implementation of several main activities related to: engineering including: preparation of investment project, energy efficiency and repair works in the building, as well as author’s supervision; preparation of a comprehensive report; approval of the investment project by the chief architect of the municipality and issuance of a building permit; carrying out construction supervision. The main measurable result after completion of the project will be increased energy efficiency in an administrative building for the provision of social services, located in the area of public importance of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. The value of the project proposal is BGN 804 172.13 and has a duration of 30 months. The team responsible for the implementation of the project consists of a manager, an investment control specialist, a public procurement specialist, a technical assistant and an accountant. Information on the project and donor will be disseminated to the general public.
