The project proposal aims to create a sustainable model for ensuring a decent life by providing access to long-term health and social care, including employment for people who are in partial or total inability to self-service and are at risk of social exclusion. In pursuit of the objectives, the Municipality of Dobrich will support the activities of the Service Unit in a home environment, created under the procedure “Help in the Home” at Home Social Patronage. The Unit will provide integrated hourly services, either individually or in combination, including the following activities: Personal assistance activities; Social support and social inclusion activities; Utility activities; medical and psychological support. A project management team will be set up — responsible for the qualitative and timely implementation of all planned activities in the project. It will launch the activity with an information campaign on the objectives, the nature of the project and the conditions for its inclusion. Staff will be appointed to manage the Unit, who will organise the entire activity of preparing and providing integrated services, according to the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities incapable of living independently, according to their individual assessment. To the Unit we will appoint Domestic Sanitaries who will perform individually or in combination personal assistance activities and utility activities according to the needs of the individuals and their wishes; Social assistants providing social support and inclusion activities; Personal assistants who care for their relatives with disabilities, thereby ensuring their inclusion in the real labour market; Honey sister and psychologist complementing consumer care. We will enable adults and people with disabilities to choose a service by helping them decide on the support they need. We will train untrained persons from the staff providing the services. For all of them, we will provide training and supervision.
