Dobrich Municipality is a specific beneficiary under procedure BG05M9OP001-2.019 “Continuing support for deinstitutionalisation of children and young people — Stage 2 — provision of social and integrated health and social services for children and families”. Under OPRG 2014-2020 and according to the approved map of resident services, in 2018. Municipality of Dobrich implements a project for repair, equipment and furnishing of a new social service — Observed housing with a capacity of 6 places for young people without disabilities from 18-21 years of age who have to leave a specialised institution or social service resident type — Center for family-type accommodation for children and young people without disabilities and/or foster family. The target group of the project will also be young people at risk from the community without disabilities and their families. The new service complements the social infrastructure in the municipality of Dobrich and will meet the needs of the young people for a service in the community that will enable them to successfully integrate into society and the labour market. The observed dwelling will be revealed in real estate municipal property — apartment — 148 sq.m, located in the central part of the city. The apartment is renovated, equipped and furnished in a way that meets the Functional Requirements (Annex H) to the application package under OPRD. It consists of a living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining area, two bathrooms and a closet. The apartment fully meets the requirements, can satisfy the needs of 6 persons. The furniture is standard, identical to the “average dwelling”. The social service to be funded under this project proposal will allow for additional support to young people from the target groups who are about to leave the care system, to socialise in the community and to be competitive on the labour market.
