The project envisages the reconstruction of a former dormitory of chemical technical school “Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov” in the Temporary Accommodation Center, Dimitrovgrad Municipality, for 20 users, aiming to provide a new service for the municipality to provide close to family care for people who are temporarily or permanently deprived of their home. The site of intervention is located in UPI I, quarter. 129 according to the plan of Dimitrovgrad. The Centre will provide a Complex of social services provided to homeless people aimed at meeting their daily needs. The project proposal is a ready-made investment project that complies with all the requirements of MLSP and MH. There will also be a ramp for access for disadvantaged people. The reconstruction of the existing building will not be removed carrying brick walls, but only some non-bearing walls in the toilets on the first and second level. The new partition walls will be implemented by suitable modern materials. Measures for thermal insulation, replacement of the joinery and a new roof structure will be implemented on the site of intervention. The center will have five storage rooms, a laundry and ironing room and a warehouse for clean and dirty linen. On the first floor there will be two compartments for two users, a reception office, a staff office, a reception room for disabled people, a medical sector, a dining room and a spill kitchen. At the next level there will be eight more compartments for two users, shared bathrooms and a cabinet.
