There will be a complete renovation of the existing cinema theatre and its transformation into a modern multifunctional hall for theatre performances, concerts, conferences, performances of amateur dance and singing groups, cinema screenings. It is envisaged to replace the mattresses inconvenient chairs with new ones of suitable sizes, which is why the number of viewers is reduced — from 400 they become 319/221 on the ground floor and 98 on the balcony/. Two of the ground floors are designed for disadvantaged people. The positioning of the new chairs complies with the requirement of Ordinance I3-1971 for construction — technical rules and standards for ensuring fire safety the distance between the rows must be min.45 cm. They have been brought into line with the ordinance and evacuation routes. Remove the oval wooden paneling. New wall cladding is envisaged — a combination of MDF boards and acoustic panels/textile/in order to improve the acoustics of the hall. The newly designed stage lighting shall be installed in suitable places. New light and acoustic solutions will meet modern standards for multifunctional buildings. Wear-resistant carpet with Teflon thread against stains and dirt will be placed on the floor. The existing suspended ceiling is preserved, which is cleaned and repainted with latex. The architectural element of the ceiling where the central lighting of the hall was restored. All existing gypsum ornaments are preserved on the walls, balcony and portal of the stage, as well as in the main lobby of the 1st floor. They are cleaned and restored where they are compromised by a technologist and then painted with latex. The mural in the central lobby remains the work of the artist Vladimir Penev — son of the poet Penyo Penev.
