The project aims to facilitate access to employment and provide support for social inclusion through professional integration of people with disabilities and disadvantaged people on the territory of Dolni Chiflik Municipality, which will be achieved through two specific objectives: Establishment of a municipal social enterprise to support professional development and provide employment for people with disabilities and disadvantaged persons on the labour market. In order to achieve it, the project proposal provides for the creation of a social enterprise “Promotion and landscaping” in Dolni Chiflik Municipality. So far, the sanitation of the settlements has been carried out by temporary workers and there is no sustainable structure to carry out the activity. At the same time, the percentage of disadvantaged people in the labour market is high. The project proposal will ensure sustainable employment for 32 people from the target groups within the project, and part of them will continue their work and after its completion, a material and technical basis will be created for the provision of the services for sanitation of public areas and maintenance of settlements. Specific objective 2: Creating conditions for supporting social entrepreneurship and increasing the efficiency of social enterprises through the development of skills and competences of people employed in the municipal social enterprise. For its achievement, the project proposal provides training on key competences of persons employed in the social enterprise and the creation of a site of the municipal social enterprise within the project, which will help to promote social entrepreneurship and facilitate access to services through the information provided and the possibilities for reporting illegal waste disposal, which will strengthen civic control.
