This project proposal is aimed at the renovation of 8 sites of the educational infrastructure on the territory of the Municipality of Kazanlak. The project covers 3 kindergartens located in Area A — Social Impact Area, as well as 5 primary schools in the settlements of the municipality. The project provides for complete reconstruction and renovation of existing buildings and adjacent yards, introduction of energy efficiency measures, repair and construction of water and sewerage systems, gasification and connection to the urban gas distribution network. The project totals BGN 9 504 532.06 and has a total duration of 26 months. As a result of the implementation of the project, educational infrastructure will be rehabilitated with a total built area of 18 886 m², the annual energy consumption of 2 314 239 kWh/year will be reduced and CO2 emissions reduction of 922,37 tonnes/year will be achieved.
