This project proposal provides for the construction of a “Center for working with street children” in Karlovo Municipality. The Center for working with children on the street is a complex of social services related to prevention of children on the street and dropping out of school, social rehabilitation and integration of children living permanently or partially on the street, through individual work with the child and his family, family counselling and support, medical and sanitation services, education of children, training in parental skills. To this end, with the financial support of OPRD, a building will be built and equipped to accommodate and operate the center. Karlovo Municipality will ensure the subsequent functioning of the center and the provision of quality services. The project also provides for activities for construction, author’s supervision, activities to promote the contribution of OPRD to its implementation and independent financial audit of the implementation. After the implementation of the project, the risk of social exclusion of children in the municipality will be reduced.
