The project “Provision of Integrated Services for Early Childhood Development in Krumovgrad Municipality” complements and supports the activities of the successfully established Center for Social Services under the Social Inclusion Project (funded by Loan 7612BG by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the period 2008-2015). Through this project will continue the provision of successfully established integrated services for early childhood development. The early childhood development services aim to support families in raising children, to stimulate them for greater activity in all spheres of life, in order to improve the quality of the relationship child-parents, which improves the atmosphere in the family environment for young children. Parents will have the opportunity for complex support — from entirely related to caring for young children to counseling on the opportunities for improving their education, qualification, employability, etc. The services are divided into two groups in view of the age of the target groups — services for future parents, services for parents and families of children under 3 years of age and services for children from 3 to 7 years of age and their families. The focus of services for children under 3 years of age and their families is mainly on the formation and development of parental skills. For children from 3 to 7 years of age, the services are mainly aimed at integration in kindergartens and improving school readiness. Among other activities, the core services focus on group and individual work with children and their families. Health counselling services will also be provided for both age groups. The aim is not only to provide support in the event of an established disability or illness, but also to form a health culture for the proper raising of children as a means of preventing health risks.
