“Renovation and rehabilitation of streets and pavements in the town of Kardzhali”

The project “Rehabilitation and rehabilitation of streets and pavements in the town of Kardzhali” is one of the three projects included in the list of indicative main projects of the approved under Priority Axis 1 — “Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development” of OP “Regions in Growth” Investment Programme (EIP) for the implementation of the IWCP of Kardzhali 2014-2020. The main objective of the project is to create conditions by improving the technical infrastructure to promote the socio-economic development of the town of Kardzhali as a sustainable and integrated city. The specific objectives of the project are related to creating an attractive, secure and accessible urban environment and promoting full social integration of people with disabilities in the town of Kardzhali. The project envisages the introduction of energy-saving street lighting, repair and rehabilitation of streets and sidewalks in the district. “Renaissances”, the central and old urban parts, as well as the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting the two parts of the built park “Arpezos-North”. The target group of the project covers all residents and guests of the town of Kardzhali. The main activities of the project are related to the implementation of construction and installation works for the modernisation of the urban environment. Activities related to project management, design, information and publicity, and financial auditing are also envisaged.
