The project proposal is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and extending the life cycle of multi-apartment buildings in Kyustendil. These are blocks as follows:1. bl. 43, 21 Gladstone Str.;2. block located on 5 Kliment Ohridski Str.; 3. bl. 48 at 41;4 Alexander Dimitrov Street. bl. 121 ul. “Tsar Osvoboditel” 328;5. bl. 120 ul. “Tsar Osvoboditel” No 326.On the basis of pre-developed reports from an energy efficiency audit and the technical characteristics of the buildings, the project proposal sets out events to ensure the improvement of the energy performance of buildings, reducing the energy costs, improving the overall appearance, creating better living conditions and thermal comfort of the citizens of Kyustendil. Investments in energy efficiency measures, in addition to energy saving effects, will serve as an example of good practice at local level and will encourage the implementation of similar measures financed from both the national budget and other sources. The measures will also have an additional effect as they will ensure the cost-effective operation of residential buildings, allowing them to sustainably continue their management and maintenance.
