The project “Together” includes all kindergartens on the territory of the municipality of Lukovit with exported groups in small settlements and all preparatory groups in municipal schools. Partners of the project are all community centers in settlements where there are kindergartens. The main activities of the project are:1.Additional training in Bulgarian language for children for whom the Bulgarian language is not mother tongue — the mastery of the official language is foreseen through work in three directions: “Play and sports”, “Sing and dancing”, “I am an actor”, with all the variety of topics suitable for mastering and improving the Bulgarian language, which will be adapted by teachers and community center workers according to the age groups of the children. Within the framework of the activity, conditions will be created for familiarising both Bulgarian and Roma folklore and traditions, mutual knowledge of children from different ethnicities and education in a spirit of tolerance.2.Events — independent and joint, of kindergartens and preparatory groups organised and held in the Chitalishtes — children’s festivals are foreseen in the Chitalishtes with thematic weeks and a municipal holiday for joint appearances of children from different ethnic groups — participants in the project. by providing catering for all children and transport for children from the villages.3.Work with parents — the activity includes motivation of parents for education of their children, as well as overcoming negative attitudes based on ethnic origin, in all ethnic groups and the community as a whole. The project will involve about 35 teachers and 9 Chitalishte activists, as well as funds for external experts for various activities. In the work with the parents will be included 5 Heads of the Schools and 3 of schools with preparatory groups, as well as 10 mediators from the settlements in the municipality, with data on non-covered children from disadvantaged backgrounds, mainly Roma. About 356 children of whom 218 Roma will be involved in the project. 42 new children, or a total of 398 children, are expected to be attracted to the DF
