The project “Socio-Economic Integration in Lukovit” includes integrated measures for the inclusion of Roma vulnerable groups in Lukovit. Partners in the project are Association “Knowledge” — Lovech and four municipal schools — two secondary schools — center and vocational, one primary school — center and one primary school — segregated. The NGO will carry out activities under both Operational Programmes.The main activities of the project are: HRD 1 OP. Inclusion in employment — provision of subsidised employment for 56 Roma unemployed2. Center for public support with community center in Kv. East, Lukovit — opening of the CPC with a social worker, pedagogue, speech therapist and recruitment of a community worker, at the CRC and its external part will be provided social and health services to about 200 children, women and mothers.3. Development of local communities and overcoming negative stereotypes — working with NGOs and external contractors with about 240 children and young people from the Roma community.OP NoIR1.Additional training in Bulgarian language for students for whom the Bulgarian language is not mother tongue — for about 450 students 2.Additional activities with students at risk of dropping out of school — about 140 students3.Support of students from ethnic minorities to continue education in the upper secondary stage and for successful completion of secondary education — 200 pupils 4.Working with parents — will cover about 400 parents 5.Adopting negative public attitudes — working with NGOs — will be covered around 150 students in the framework of the project will be recruited by 5 Roma mediators.
