Lukovit Municipality’s project implements an integrated approach and combines activities to improve access to employment, improve access to social and health services and develop local communities and overcome negative stereotypes. The activity “Employment” provides for subsidised employment for 14 people from vulnerable groups for a period of 12 m. Unemployed persons who meet the criteria of the project will be employed in three villages in the municipality of Lukovit — Dermantsi, Bejanovo and Uglen, in a position of “common worker”, for maintaining hygiene in buildings and in public places, landscaping and maintenance of green areas in public spaces. The improvement of access to social and health services will be achieved through the establishment of a Community Centre for Early Childhood Development and Parental Support in the village of Dermantsi with exported jobs in the village of Bejanovo and Uglen, where people from the target groups will be recruited as community workers: in the village of Dermantsi -2, Bejanovo -2,Uglen-1.The center will work for 12 months within the project and will provide services, on schedule, for children — early childhood development and parents — support for parental and family skills, through consultations with a psychologist, social worker, nurse and midwife. In the three settlements will be equipped premises for individual and group work. During the project, a functional expert “Cinema education” will film the work with the target groups, opinions and impressions, expectations and achieved results. The installed film material will be screened and distributed as a finished product as a result of the work to develop local communities and overcome negative stereotypes based on ethnicity. In the process of filming the participants in the project will be provoked to form critical thinking and teamwork skills.The activities in the project will apply an individual approach to the individual person and at the same time will be tailored to the specifics of each settlement. The deadline for the implementation of the project is 18 months.
